We are looking for stories of lesbian love during the summer holiday. This could be a short holiday fling somewhere far away from home, or a moment of summer heat passion between a long lasting couple, or anything in between.
We welcome erotic content, but romance has to be the focus of the story.
Please note the usual no-nos apply: no incest / underage sex / rape / necrophilia / bestiality / scat. No poetry please.
Preferred length: 3000 – 6000 words

Unpublished stories only.

US English. Please submit a double-spaced Microsoft Word document, using a 12-point serif font, such as Georgia or Times New Roman. One inch margins. If using a pen name, include both real and pen name on the manuscript.
Send your story as a .doc or .rtf file attachment to submissions at ladylit dot com. Please include Summer Love and your story title in the subject line.
In the body of the email please include your legal name, pseudonym and a short bio.

  1. Dear Ladies, I am a 68 year old gentleman who has done some writing in my professional past but limited to reports and some technical book editing. I have had an inkling and encouragement to write, in my now semi retirement, something professional however, I must ‘fess up to a prurient interest in crafting an erotic novella and of the lesbian kind. Possibly a vicarious pleasure although when one gets down to it a little personally implausible! Why lesbian I ask myself? Accordingly I have rationalized this decision to that of the genderless appreciation the beauty and wonder of the female form and character so what then could be more beautiful than women in love and/or lust? Or maybe I’m just a dirty old man!

I was pleased to see this request for “summer love” as I have, nearly completed, a 5000 word effort that qualifies. The other a 19000 word effort – two (heterosexually) married and attractive women in their early 60’s caught in a snowstorm, each with hubby issues, leading to you know what.

The final editing should be done by the end of the weekend. If you’re happy to take a look I’d be happy to send them and see what transpires. Clearly acceptance would be a big thrill but rejection wouldn’t be at all too disappointing as I am pleased I have been able to do what I can.

Where should the books be sent to?

    Thanks,

    Martin
